MuMETAL® Deep Draw Annealed Coil

Our MuMETAL® Deep Draw Coil is formulated for deep draw tooling.  This material is proven for its stamping and forming properties.  Additional annealing operations may be required dependent on shield design (i.e. size:depth ratio and shielding features).  We typically stock all gauges in quantities for small production runs, prototyping, testing and tooling validation. For large production run volumes, pricing is based market pricing and mill volumes.

Our MuMETAL® brand is primarily specified for low intensity fields where high attenuation is desired (high initial permeability & high shielding efficiency).  Typically, atmospherically controlled Perfection Annealing is required after stamping, deep drawing, machining, bending, rolling or welding to provide maximum shielding performance.

Conforms to ASTM A753 Alloy 4, and MIL-N-14411C Comp 1.

Slitting, Shearing or Cutting Services: Stock coil may be slit, sheared or cut per your request.

MuMETAL® Deep Draw Coil may be sold by weight for production run volumes of +500 lbs.  Please contact Technical Sales for these requests.
