MAGNETIC SHIELDING...

NOT JUST FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ANYMORE

Most electrical engineers have awareness, if not experience, in developing magnetic shielding for a myriad of electronic devices such as cell phones, computers, and other small devices where these low level magnetic frequencies can play havoc with performance. But the continually expanding use of electronics in our everyday environment has created the growing need for area shielding.

Computer monitors have been the proverbial "canaries in the coal mine" in commercial, municipal and industrial facilities. "Inexplicable" screen interference is often the vanguard for investigation into the issue of magnetic interference. Once surfaced, the lack of proper magnetic-shielding initiates a series of concerns both for computer functionality and the possibility of adverse health effects to their operators.

Typically, Magnetic Shield Corporation engineers consult with Public Utilities, Building Managers, Facilities Engineers, Design Consultants and Architects to provide an effective shielding solution for environments effected by elevated magnetic field levels.

In many cases finding elevated fields has required MSC to provide whole room shielding solutions for walls, floors and ceilings. The first step in determining a need is to conduct a site survey.
