Working closely with the customer's engineer, Magnetic Shield's engineering staff developed a shield design that would cover the broadest possible sets of circumstances. Several designs were prototyped and tested. The customer finalized on a dual layer shield made up of both CONETIC AA® and NETIC® alloys. The unique properties of each alloy - CO-NETIC AA for the highest attenuation and NETIC for the broadest range of field strength protection - combine to provide maximum shielding capability. This design afforded them the flexibility to accommodate the widely diverse levels of interference they anticipated experiencing.

For quick implementation of the solution, we manufactured initial quantities of shields with short run tools to meet urgent delivery needs while the high speed, low cost production tools were being made.
