Our Lab Kits aid in shield design
The most effective magnetic shields are those designed from empirical data obtained during the development process of the electronic product. Magnetic Shield's proprietary Lab Kits are used worldwide to assist in the development of this empirical data.
Magnetic field strength is measured with a sensitive Probe in the kit, used with a DVM or Oscilloscope. It will measure magnetic field intensities and the attenuation ratios of magnetic shields. A broad variety of shielding materials including Magnetic Shield Corporation's NETIC® and CO-NETIC® are provided in various thicknesses.
As "the preferred source" of magnetic shielding materials for more than 65 years, Magnetic Shield Corporation has provided materials or shield design assistance to a majority of electronic manufacturers.
It is a heritage that dates back to the earliest days of electronics, when Magnetic Shield shields were installed around the first Cathode Ray Tubes in early televisions and X-ray monitors. As electronics and imaging have progressed, so too, has Magnetic Shield continually risen to the challenges presented.
We maintain strict quality measures, and secure systems and records, which ensures our customers of a consistent, reliable materials source as well as confidentiality of data.
Materials stocked include sheet and foil in various thicknesses and widths, plus a vast array of wire, cable, conduit and braided sleeves. We also custom manufacture simple and complex magnetic shield shapes.
